We received one of these as a gift. It worked wonderfully. We really enjoyed watching close-up videos of the birds feeding. Unfortunately, after about three months, the battery stopped recharging. I looked online for possible causes, and it suggested unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in. When I checked the device, I found that the power cord was cut. I contacted the VicoHome Support Team (at [****]) and explained the situation. They replied within 24 hours and asked for a photo. I sent it to them. Their response was that it appeared that an animal had chewed through the cable. They told me that they don‘t sell replacement cables, so they would send me a new device at no cost to me. Can't beat that kind of service. Yilia, the support team member, was most helpful in resolving my problem, dealing with the issue efficiently and professionally.

Very easy to install, fill, and use! We get to watch birds up close and then learn what kind it is. We received it in May which is the perfect time of year to watch all the birds in our area. Perfect for all ages!

Took a bit of effort to set up the app (you HAVE to create an account to use it). But the motion detection works well and the Wi-Fi reception is very good (it is set up outside about 40 feet from the house). The app can be set to notify you when it detects motion so you can check what tripped it. Set it up in the afternoon and had birds on it the next morning. Also picked up what looked like it might have been an opossum checking it out during the night (but the night vision only showed an outline).
The cloud version of the app is free for 30 days and provides suspected identification but is usually way off. After the 30 days you have to pay for the subscription but if you don‘t need the subscription if you have a TF (micro SD) card in the camera for storage and you don't need the iffy bird identification.

The box came with descriptors instructions feels very sturdy and easy to assemble. Holds a nice amount of food and so far camera quality is lovely. Gives you options for pole, for tree or wall anchors. Very fine details I recommend

Bought combined seed and humming bird version for Mother’s Day gift and my wife loves it! Lots of birds including humming birds right away. One note with the combined version…the humming bird attachment will have to be cleaned weekly as some seed will get knocked into the feeding holes. We did sign up for the AI service to try it - works fairly well, but there are some pretty funny misses every so often.

I’ve had this on my wish list for quite a while. My son finally got it for me for Mother’s Day and I have been loving it! The picture is so clear. I did have to remove the hummingbird attachment because I couldn’t keep ants off of it.

I received this feeder as a gift and my first thought was an internet bird feeder??? Why? But then I found out. I have more varieties of birds in my backyard than I was aware of. This is incredibly fun - friends and work colleagues want to see what‘s going on at my feeder. Several people actually purchased their own after watching the birds on mine.
It's easy to install, reliable, stays charged even on cloudy days. It takes great pictures. I even have night photos of a masked bandit/raccoon making a raid on the bird seed.

I have no complaints. Customer support is the best.

This bird feeder is so cool! It was pretty easy to set up. I used the strap and put it on a tree. I charged it before setting it up, and the solar panel has kept it completely charged every day since then. The video works well and doubles as security for my house. It has a wide view of my yard, so I can see anything happening in it. I can see previous videos from when the motion sensor was triggered, and I can also see a live view. I am in a new home and hadn’t fed the birds here previously, and they haven’t found the feeder yet, so I can’t comment on the AI identification feature. But I am sure it’s just a matter of time! So far I am really happy with this.

I compared several feeders before deciding on this one to gift to my mom. You may have to be patient though, it took about a full month before birds discovered and trusted the feeder. Once they found it, the videos have been coming in nonstop!

This bird feeder is awesome question! It takes video and pictures of the birds that visit. It‘s highly entertaining to see the images and easier to identify visiting birds even without the app. It was easy to install and set up and it's easy to get the images. The quality of images and video is quite good. It seems to be reasonably sturdy as well.This makes a great gift for a family or individual who loves nature.

I love this bird feeder camera! It was very easy to set up and works great. I set it up on a heavy duty pole with a horizontal support. We have lots of squirrels so i added a squirrel baffle. Love it!

I don‘t have to be around the bird feeder to see my feathered friends. I don't miss what comes to feed. I have had so many beautiful birds that I didn't realize would be around. You won't be disappointed in the clear and colorful picture!
